I don't think its neccessarily the known faces influencing churches directly, but perhaps the issue of cliques within congregational churches themselves who have one or more active creationists who reach for the obvious supporting material and book speakers. What perhaps we don't know is if there is still a sufficiently active grass roots to keep the movement going as the current players continue to retire?
