The other creationist teaching at Bristol Uni?

Postby a_haworthroberts » Tue Oct 07, 2014 12:31 am

This is probably old newsfor the BCSE but Alan H Linton, currently or previously Emeritus Professor of Bacteriology of the University of Bristol, is either a creationist or an ID proponent. He gets a mention here (about five paras from the end) and I also attach a second (past) link where he reviewed a books by Niles Eldredge:

I reached the first link by clicking on underlined text within this (already flagged in an earlier post here):

Linton retired years ago.

The article in which he is quoted is by Bryan Fischer who is as qualified in science as my cat's arse is. He's the main mouthpiece (and mouth) of the Americam Famiy Association which has been designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Fischer is an Ian Paisley character, notoroius for his complete lack of any self-awareness. He is a bigoted extreme right wing American talk show host up to his neck in conspiracy theory and paranoia. The US airwaves are full of such demagogues.
