Ham puffed by Torygraph

Postby Brian Jordan » Wed Dec 24, 2014 7:45 pm

Well, the article is mildly critical but as Nye has demonstrated, for Ken no publicity is bad publicity. Why on earth did the Torygraph send someone to see Ham at work and write such a long article? Eric Pickles at work?

The report says about Big Ken: "For Mr Ham, a soft-spoken Australian who moved to the US as his homeland was “too pagan”, the target was not just his bête noire – legions of atheists waging a relentless war on Christmas...."

As far as I can make out, he moved to the USA because he had lost the franchise for selling creationist school textbooks to Queensland schools.

There is no "war on Christmas" in the USA, or Australia. It's another fiction of the paranoid, martyrdom complex of fundamentalists.

In an interview with The Telegraph later, Mr Ham insisted that he does believe that non-creationists cannot be Christians

Must be a misprint.
